Submission Jumpscare video (WARNING)

So…not only has this happened to me just now (albeit in my side blog), but lots of my other friends have been getting this, too. I’m PRETTY sure there are already other warnings circulating tumblr, but another one won’t hurt.

There are some sorrowful fucks going around in fake email addresses and submitting a video with a kinda weird thumbnail.

I’m pretty sure it looks like this:

I didn’t click it at all, but after hearing from various sources, it’s a jumpscare.

Spread the word and close your submissions if you want, but if you see a random fake address (the email appears to be different every time) with this thumbnail, just delete it. They appear to be submitting this to ANY blog with submissions open, and while some people don’t care and can stand jumpscares, others…might not be as tolerable.

If I do get any I might turn off the submissions… I’m getting uncomfortable just by imagining the things in the video. So if I do that, you know what happened.

Got this across several blogs last night, it’s a band that thinks the best way to advertise is to spam people’s blogs with their music videos. They’ve tried it before with their last one, not sure why they thought it would be a good idea to try this stunt again. IDK if there are jumpscares in the video, but don’t click if only to not give these guys the views they’re desperately trying to spam for.
