Net Neutrality is being censored on Tumblr because it is owned by Yahoo, which is owned by Verizon, and Verizon is spearheading the campaign against net neutrality

Is that why I see dozens of posts a day about net neutrality? 🤔

And since clearly Net Neutrality isn’t working here, or in any of those European nations which have it but still charge extra, so why is everyone scrambling so hard to save it?

Believe there’s a difference between censorship and Title 2 classification (which is what the fight for Net Neutrality is about). Essentially, as it is right now the internet is treated as a Title 2 utility (like water and electricity), and as such isn’t subject to being split up into packages a la cable channels.

It’s not about censorship at the moment, it’s about money. Which is why corporations would like to see the Title 2 status removed.
