I saw people saying the latest Steven Universe episode was boring and a waste of time, but I thought it was interesting. We got to learn:

-The Diamonds and possibly other upper class gems own sentient walls, statues, combs, and probably even more objects and furniture like that. Is this what it means for a gem to be harvested?

-Pink Diamond was kind to and played with the ‘servant’ gems, as the
pebbles were immediately comfortable with Steven when they believed he
was Pink. This also suggests the other Diamonds are no where near as
kind, because simply thanking the pebbles was apparently something only
Pink would do.

-We got to learn more about how busy the daily lives of Diamonds are, and how the four of them had fun moments together where they could just enjoy each other’s company.

-They still see Pink and Steven as the same instead of recognising them as separate individuals. It seems the Diamonds are treating the whole situation as a phase Pink’s going through or just a bought of memory loss and can’t see that Pink/Rose is gone. Or maybe they refuse to see it. This will probably cause some conflict later.

-Steven realised that Pink feeling left behind by the Diamonds
was similar to how he used to feel with the Crystal Gems when he
couldn’t go on missions with them. And knowing he and Pearl, Garnet, and
Amethyst are closer than ever since then motivates him to fix the
situation between him/Pink and the Diamonds.

And more! I really don’t see what’s a waste of time about that.
