They will be silly, make mistakes, need guidance because they are CHILDREN. Abusive parents who act immature for the sake of it do not have this excuse. They are supposed to be caring. There is no excuse for abuse, or treating a child like shit for being a child.

I just fucking love that line. It’s also a neat pilot reference.
