THIS is why I want to go into animation. THIS is why I love writing. Because characters like these have literally given me comfort and taught me and been my friends when no one else would. And YES, I know that they are lines drawn on pages. But those lines have taught me so much more than a lot of real people have. These characters made me want to seize the day – to be a better sibling – to not give up. And to have the ability to do this for other people? Seriously, the idea of being able to give people hope and comfort and in a crazy, mixed up world – and maybe to be able to pull them out of depression and other things? That’s what I feel I can serve God by doing.
