The ozone layer is healing and the holes are lessening in size! The damage could be completely reversed within our lifetimes!
By in our lifetimes i mean that they’re predicting it could be majorly, if not entirely, fixed by 2060-2080 (x)
However chloroform levels in the atmosphere are too high and are slowing down the progress. (x)
It is getting better tho! theres a little good environmental news!!
Reminder than the hole in the ozone layer and greenhouse gasses are different problems. We’re definitely still poisoning the earth itself with our use of oil and increasing temps globally with our use of greenhouse gasses.
But this is hella good news though!!!!!
