Shoutout to Steven who, in an episode featuring White Diamond controlling and talking through the crystal gems, still manages to be the scariest and most unnerving. I mean, Pink Steven is clearly extremely powerful even when compared to a diamond. And the way he interacts with the enviroment almost makes it seem like it’s the rest of the universe interacting with him. He seems kind of like a set point in the universe or how to describe it, like mjölnir in comics where it’s not the hammer that moves but the universe around it. Which is very appropriate considering he is the center of the show and of the crystal gems. The majority of what we know we learn through him, and he is the biggest constant in the show.
