I’m sure everyone is sick of hearing about what Tumblr fucked up next but this feels important to share.
There are literal harem ads. Ads where you beat a person. Ads where you need to ‘pick a girl to give you an heir’ from a line of ‘slaves or maids’ as the ad puts it and like, @staff , @support , if you’re gonna clean the fucking site from all NSFW content, keep it completely clean. Don’t half-ass it because the advertisements earn you money and the NSFW artists technically don’t pay your bills.
You’re undermining your own message and that’s why people call you incompetent. Get rid of porn bots and nazis, stop killing our eyes with hyper-saturated themes and stop displaying quite frankly disgusting ads that go against your own policies.
They were there when everyone got corrupted they witnessed their friends/family having to be bubbled for thousands and thousands of years!! Thinking that they would never find away to get them back. And pearl and garnet were the only original ones left seeing how far they have come together realizing it finally over. It’s just
Friendly but serious reminder to stay safe, FOR REAL, YES YOU ALL OF YOU in the eastern two-thirds of the United States who are getting hit with an arctic air mass this week. NOAA put out an alert calling it a “very dangerous and life-threatening arctic air mass;” this is for real.
I know from growing up in the cold that it can be Really Easy to assume you’ll be fine and not take proper precautions because it’s “just cold” and you’re used to it, but extreme cold affects the body in ways that even those of us who grew up with cold winters are not necessarily familiar with.
Extreme cold can be very dangerous–even if you’re physically healthy, even “just” outside in your own neighborhood, etc.
One of my (adult, not even elderly) relative’s feet got frostbite last winter from being outside too long in too cold weather (even though they were wearing socks and boots), and the thing is, frostbite is a type of injury to the skin that then lasts, so it still causes them pain. Sometimes we think of health risks in terms of very stark black-and-white life-threatening-or-not, but even cold that isn’t bad enough to kill you can cause long-lasting damage that will be a pain in the ass for a long time.
Elderly people in their homes during extreme cold are some of those most at risk, so check in with your elderly friends, neighbors or relatives.
“Frostbite can happen in minutes, especially on the extremities such as
fingers, toes, nose and ears but can affect any area of exposed skin. If
you suspect frostbite, immediately move inside to a heated location and
begin warming the affected areas using warm water or body heat. Do not
use hot water or radiant heat such as a fireplace since affected areas

I’m glad that people are finally recognizing Shaggy’s incomprehensible power and all, but it hurts my heart to see all these memes of stuff like “Shaggy tears people’s souls out for amusement” and “No one survived the Scooby Doo Movie filming” because that’s not who Shaggy is! Shaggy’s a good dude! He just wants to chill and eat some good food with his pals!
Yes he could unravel this inconsequential plane of being with the ease of steamroller crushing an egg, but he wouldn’t because life is good!

at this point it seems like tumblr staff is TRYING to drive off its userbase. First they’re like “hmm, our site is entirely known for the mass amounts of porn on here, so lets wipe that shit out! What else? Let’s make making custom themes damn near impossible! now, just for fun, lets make looking at the damn thing give you a migrane! THAT’LL drive those weird ass kinnies off our site!” but they dont know that anyone who’s still on this site has been using it for 5 years at the absolute fucking minimum and no matter how many times they knock the site down a peg we’re still gonna be here posting our callouts and unfunny ass text posts. tumblr staff is frantically dumping purell on us and we are the 0.01% of germs that it wont fucking kill
