This is in regards to that exposingthelosers scam/hoax. As many of you might’ve noticed that by clicking that link, it redirects you to a spoofed/fake version of Tumblr’s log-in page.

If you visited it, DON’T put in you log-in details. It is a phishing scam.

I’m taking this opportunity to remind you all more generally – always pay attention to the URL you’re on before putting in your credentials ANYWHERE.

• Look out for typos in the address.
• Look out for weird extensions.
• Look out for whether the page is https vs. http.
• When in doubt, copy the text of the suspicious message into a search engine to see if others have sniffed out something fishy about it.
• Keep tabs on your accounts for any suspicious activity.
• Consider changing your passwords regularly.
• Consider installing script-blockers onto your browser.
